Hello,
I am Philippe Geukers, I graduated from the École de technologie supérieure in August 2023. As a
bachelor in
engineering, I am seeking an entry-level position in the industry to apply my knowledge and
skills to real-world
problems. With my solid academic foundation and experience in a variety of full-stack roles, I
am confident that I can
bring value to my future team.
During my time at Morgan Stanley and Ubisoft, I gained a wealth of technical knowledge and
experience. At Morgan
Stanley, I developed an application that saved 100 hours per year for operations by
automatically prompting the update of customer tax information based on their financial
activity. My technical expertise was also
showcased in my work as an IT Developer at Ubisoft, where I developed full-stack applications
and implemented JWT
authentication to secure Rest APIs through Hashicorp Vault.
I also possess strong soft skills, including leadership, good communication and initiative,
which I gained through
founding the AlgoETS club and captaining the Champlain College Volleyball Team. As the president
of AlgoETS, I led the
development of bots and algorithms that optimize investments. Meanwhile, as captain of the
volleyball team, I developed
a strong sense of teamwork.
I am excited to leverage my skills, knowledge, and experience to contribute to your
organization.
Thank you for considering me, I look forward to hearing from you soon.

BullETS is a Python library designed to backtest algorithmic trading strategies.
As the president of AlgoÉTS, I contributed extensively to BullETS hence allowing other
members to test their
algorithms.
As part of my Data Science and Algorithms class,
we had to develop a bot to win at Breakthrough, a game between chess and checkers, using a
Minimax algorithm.
